If you want a really amazing usb flashdrive based distribution experience you have to try Porteus. I really briefly mentioned it here. a few weeks ago when it was still in beta. It has now been released. It runs XFCE pretty damn fast you’ll forget you installed it on a Flashdrive. Forget using a Live CD/USB this is a full blown installation “on a flashdrive” that you can take anywhere. It’s offered in 32 and 64 bit.
